Mario has always been passionate about healthy and tasty food and enjoys making jerky. Mario’s journey in the culinary world started when he realized the importance of slicing in cooking food. His journey started while he was on a fishing trip with his father and brother, and was given the task of slicing the fish. This experience led him to discover his passion for using blades/cutters and slicers, and he began collecting them. As he continued to collect these, he learned about the different materials, steel gauges, and hardness ratings, among other things.  He began researching and testing different types of kitchen slicers, which led him to establish some unique methods of slicing. He always strive to provide readers with detailed reviews, advice, and in-depth knowledge about kitchen slicers to enable them to make the right decisions when purchasing them.
